DogOnGood Dog Rescue began in a conversation with my uniquely gifted daughter who in addition to her creativity has a loving passion for all things living, especially puppies! It seems from day one she has always had the desire to become a veterinarian; in which she is still currently working to achieve.

Of course in loving desire of supporting my daughters’ goals and dreams we would have several conversations on how we could create better lives for our fury friends. In one such conversation DogOnGood Dog rescue was born! She went forward and created drawings and pictures of what it would look like; in which I still have and treasure!

The Idea was to have a combination of training opportunities for both humans and our beloved puppies! It would be supported by a training facility, (hence my daughters drawings and ideas) which we are still working towards but has yet to become a reality. It also would be supported through special events such as Pawtoberfest, concerts, beverage sales and other possibilities.

Shortly after, Steve Demarest and his dog Dee, Joel Sams, and Aaron Gibbs, (me) began to build up a dog themed brewery; specifically based on the Weimaraner breed; the breed that Steve’s dog Dee was. We shortly expanded this idea into all breeds however. This lead Aaron to the opportunity to now unfold the possibility of making a conversation with his daughter Ashley and joint passion for puppies come true! As we move further into the future of this creation built for the people and the puppies we hope that more creative ideas and possibilities will manifest and present themselves to become a reality!

You see we believe that a properly trained human alongside a properly trained dog can provide you with one of the greatest gifts God and this world has to offer us…and a human who learns to properly control their puppy and yet treat them with a kind love and support will get the greatest gift of unconditional love and warm the heart of this world and make it a better place for us all!
